Special Crunchy Fried Chicken


Ingredients:

  • 10-12 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/2     cup finely crush cornflake
  • 1        cup plain flour, sifted
  • 1        teaspoon celery salt
  • 1        teaspoon onion salt
  • 2        tablespoon chicken stock powder
  • 1/2     teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2     teaspoon ground white pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

  • Place drumsticks in a large pan of boiling water, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, wait        for few minutes or until the chiken is almost cooked,  drain.
  • Combine cornflake, flour, celery salt, onion salt, stock powder, garlic powder and pepper in a medium bowl
  • Place drumstick in a large bowl.
  • Dip wet drumstick into season flour mixture one at a time, and shake off access.
  • Heat oil in heavy-based pan.
  • Add drumstick and cook few in a lower heat. Cook for few minutes or until chicken is  golden brown and cooked through. . Drain on paper towel.
